Australasia's fastest growing real estate group, Harcourts International
Ltd, is celebrating the success of its newest joint venture partner,
M&M Real Estate being named Number 24 in leading Australian
business magazine, Business Review Weekly's (BRW) annual 'BRW Fast
100' list this week. M&M is also the only Tasmanian company
on the list.
M & M Real Estate was founded in 2001 with directors Tony Morrison
and Kirsty Dunphey building the initial team of three to 19 and
Launceston's highest grossing sales team per consultant.
The joint venture with Harcourts took effect in August this year
(M & M Harcourts) and has seen the Launceston office become
the founding franchise of an aggressive drive into new Tasmanian
markets to achieve eight additional offices by the end of 2005.
Joint Director of M&M Harcourts, Kirsty Dunphey said, "Our
placement in the list, especially our ranking at number 24 is a
huge honour. To be recognised in this way and placed in the company
of organisations such as Boost Juice and realestate.com.au is overwhelming."
Managing Director of Harcourts International Ltd, Mike Green, added,
"Our launch into Tasmania was strategically important for our
organisation as Tasmania continues to show significant growth and
presents an enormous opportunity in the future. Our partnership
with M&M was equally critical to our success - this recognition
by BRW of M&M's outstanding business achievements and growth
simply reinforces that we have the very best business partners in
the Tasmanian marketplace."
