Multiple winner of the 'Keep New Zealand Beautiful - Small Town
Award', Feilding, has welcomed a new Harcourts office to its Manawatu
township. Renowned for its affordable lifestyle, picturesque gardens,
and Edwardian architecture, Feilding's 14,000 population saw its
new Harcourts office write $1.6 million worth of residential property
sales in its first week alone.
The office opened end of September with Sales Manager Ross Christensen
heading a team of eight experienced local sales consultants working
in Feilding and Marton in residential, commercial, rural and lifestyle
properties.
For owner Kevin Wakelin, the Feilding office is an expansion of
his already strong network in the Manawatu and lower North Island
region with well established offices in Palmerston North, Foxton,
Dannevirke, Taupo, Turangi, and most recently Wanganui.
Manager of the group of offices, Rohan Teaz said, "Having
the backing of a large company is an enviable asset. We have strong
company support and proven systems that are superior to others I
have seen." Mr Teaz added that the strong referral network
throughout Harcourts' 170 offices around New Zealand enables clients
to stay with one company when buying and selling properties in different
parts of the country.
With property currently moving fast in the Manawatu, Mr Teaz is
confident of Harcourts Feilding's success. "With the average
sale time of a property in Feilding being 21 days, about the same
as Palmerston North, the team should be kept busy."
CEO of Harcourts New Zealand, Bryan Thomson, said "We are
delighted to be in Feilding with this new office completing another
vital link in our international chain of over 330 offices. We know
the local and surrounding areas will enjoy the benefits of leading
edge training, marketing and systems being delivered by local people
with international links. This is what has made Harcourts the number
one real estate company in New Zealand and the fastest growing one
in Australasia."
