In Asia, European products and services have become more prevalent
over the last 10 years, as Asian consumers are increasingly exposed
to diverse cultures as a result of globalisation and mass consumerism.
Recognising the growing popularity of European lifestyle concepts,
European companies - franchisors and licensors alike - recognise
the strong potential to expand into Asia.
Asia's most established franchising and licensing event, Global
Franchising & Licensing2004 (GFL2004) held from September 15-17
at Suntec Singapore, will feature European companies from France,
Germany and Spain, as well as companies from Thailand, Malaysia,
Singapore, Korea, USA, and Australia.
The Who's Who of the international franchising world will be at
GFL to network with visitors, delegates and other corporations to
form joint ventures, attract new franchisees and explore new overseas
markets. The international diversity of GFL is a huge draw card
for exhibitors and visitors alike because it exposes them to unique,
trend-setting foreign concepts and opens up the possibility of new
ventures.
