Franchize Consultants is hosting a Franchise Field Support Training session for franchisor executives and franchise field representatives on Thursday, September 13 in Auckland, New Zealand. The training session explains why field visits are important, the many and varied roles of a field support representative, the field visits process and, important do’s and don’ts. The session also focuses on the development of background franchisor infrastructure to provide a solid foundation for field visits. This includes a description and discussion of the field support representative’s ‘toolbox’ to support the development of franchisees.
Franchize Consultants is providing the training session in recognition of the dramatic impact effect field support can have on the health and performance of a franchise system. This field visit training program for field representatives and franchisor executives provides powerful insights into the role of field visits, including how to perform them effectively. The session is also designed for participants to gain important knowledge on the background franchise infrastructure required to provide successful field visits, including available tools, systems and structures, and how to use them.
The training day will be led by Donna Ferrall and Callum Floyd of Franchize Consultants. Donna has over 25 years of operational experience in franchising, working with major fast food franchises, McDonalds and Subway in New Zealand in a wide variety of roles (e.g., restaurant manager, field consultant, business consultant, operations manager). Callum has substantial franchising and related knowledge gained from completing both Master of Commerce and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) qualifications researching franchising. Callum has led franchise development projects across a range of business sectors involving leading local and international organisations.
