Franchize Consultants (NZ) Ltd, a specialist franchising and licensing
consultancy, and Westpac bank, long supporters of New Zealand franchising,
hold their first joint seminar on franchising a business for 2005
in Auckland on Wednesday 16 February.
The Auckland event is the first in a series of franchising seminars
to be held in major centres throughout New Zealand this year.
The seminar, entitled 'The Franchise Advantage', will provide
business owners with information on the potential and process of
franchising a business.
The Franchise Advantage seminar includes four speakers with substantial
franchising knowledge and experience, including Win Robinson (Managing
Director) and Dr Callum Floyd (Senior Consultant) of Franchize Consultants
(NZ) Ltd, Daniel Cloete, National Franchising Manager of Westpac
bank, and Rory MacDonald, Principal of Rory MacDonald Law.
Over the course of two hours attendees will gain considerable insight
into franchising and its potential for facilitating business expansion.
A broad range of topics will be covered including a history of franchising,
advantages and disadvantages of franchising a business, key structural
elements of a franchise, systems and documentation, the franchise
recruitment process, franchise agreement, and franchise financing.
The seminar begins at 4.30pm on Wednesday 16 February and will
be held at Level 15, PriceWaterHouseCoopers Tower, 188 Quay Street,
Auckland.
