Fiducial, an international multidisciplinary professional business
services provider, announced today that it has acquired the accounting
offices of Prince William County, VA, CPA firm Frisch Ambrosiano
& Kontos P.C. (FA&K), adding nearly 1,300 tax, write-up
and payroll clients and two locations to its ever-expanding area
operations. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The former CPA firm, one of the largest in the county and ranked
16th on the VA Business 2003 list of 50 fastest growing businesses
in the state, will now be known as Fiducial Frisch Ambrosiano &
Kontos and will continue to operate at its two locations, 2080 Old
Bridge Road in Lake Ridge and 17606 Main Street in Dumfries. Fiducial
will integrate the employees and service offerings of the former
company into its own business model, and existing clients can be
confident that there will be no interruption of any work due to
the transition.
"FA&K is a welcome addition to the Fiducial organization,"
said Fiducial Director of Field Operations William Morice. "We're
continuing to strengthen our presence in Prince William County with
high caliber professionals and the FA&K team is top-notch,"
he said.
The additional acquisition of FA&K in this Northern Virginia
area follows the 2003 purchase of Duvall Wheeler in Manassas. With
this joining of forces, Prince William County small business owners
will essentially have access cross-county to all the resources only
a national professional services company like Fiducial can provide.
In addition to traditional tax, accounting and payroll services,
Fiducial provides mortgage and title services through its affiliated
companies and is its own broker-dealer through Fiducial Investment
Advisors, Inc. With its fully integrated product and services lines,
Fiducial Frisch Ambrosiano & Kontos will be better equipped
to serve its client base, which currently includes service businesses,
government contractors, technology companies, retailers, title companies,
real estate agencies and medical practices, among others.
John Frisch, CPA/PFS, CFP, original founder and partner of the
FA&K group, is pleased with the new direction of his former
accounting practice. "It was getting to the point where I was
spending all my time on administrative and HR functions that I could
only spend 10% of my time with clients," he said. "Now,
with Fiducial's support systems to handle these areas, this will
no longer be the case. I've already spoken with many of my clients
to tell them that I'll be spending a lot more time with them and
they couldn't be happier."
Clearly relating to Frisch is colleague Anthony (Tony) Ambrosiano,
CPA, who will head up area operations as the new Fiducial district
manager. Tired of "being in the trenches" after 25 tax
seasons, Ambrosiano also sees the advantages of this positive career
change, especially as part of his new duties is to grow his new
company in his vicinity. "We're looking to hire branch managers
to handle the day-to-day operations in our offices," he said.
"It will be an exciting opportunity for anyone to join us,"
he added. |
