Background

	David Foster Director David is the former vice chairman of the Franchise Association of New Zealand and is the Association’s regional co-ordinator for both the Bay of Plenty and the Waikato. David is well recognised within the franchising industry and has many year’s experience advising franchisees and franchisors. His strategic approach to setting up a franchise system, reviewing franchise agreements and the buying and selling of a franchise business will make this a smooth process for you. David is a frequent speaker and writer and regularly appears on television on franchise matters. He has a wide range of expertise and advises on property matters, asset protection, and debt recovery. David is also a Notary Public.
	Alan Tate Consultant Alan Tate has a long history with Harris Tate and has been practicing as a Solicitor and Notary Public for many years. He has been the powerhouse behind the establishment of the Bay of Plenty branch of the Franchise Association. Alan is well experienced in the franchise sector, from creating franchise agreements and advising purchasers. Alan has a wealth of knowledge and also specialises in asset protection, elder care, and commercial and residential property transactions. Alan also looks after a number of local Iwi and Maori interest groups.
	Katrina Hulsebosch Associate Katrina graduated with LLB and BsocSci degrees from the University of Waikato in 2001, and joined Harris Tate in 2009 as an Associate. Katrina has a range of expertise and specialises in company and commercial law, immigration, insolvency and employment law, as well as being part of the franchising team.
